Builders Block

The Builders Block is a transformative project located in Stratford. Beginning with the redevelopment of an existing 4-storey, turn-of-the-century furniture factory into apartments, the 2.85-hectare site will include a total of 11 buildings ranging from three-storey townhomes to mid-rise apartments. Providing a range of unit types, suite sizes, and typologies is an intentional act to create a true community close to the heart of downtown Stratford and an opportunity to create much-needed housing close to downtown. Using time-tested urban design strategies, the development is intended to sit comfortably within the neighbourhood. Through careful and thoughtful design, this block will enhance the community, providing clues on how older cities like Stratford can transform without losing their essence.
