Piper’s Grove Condominiums

Piper’s Grove, at 88 Gibson Street, is a five-storey condominium in the rural community of Ayr in the township of North Dumfries. The site posed a unique challenge of having to balance the design of the building and its composition with the need for parking for the residents. The solution was to have parking at grade under the rear half of the building, which resolved the need for parking without compromising the street presence of the building. The building itself is predominantly masonry with contrasting black accents that speak to the historical, industrial character of Ayr.

Piper’s Grove is unique in its offering of a recreational setting. Though it is located close to surrounding cities like Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and Brantford, it targets low-key urban living for a more relaxing experience.
